It was a very simple pic to do but i think it came out nicely.
I already started to animate this, Where Khos his transport jumps in and docks whit the B5 station.
B5 station: James Reding
Planet: Matthew Tarling and Jeff Richard
Epsilon neb: JEFFREY C. RICHARD
Sharlin: Mark Kane
Stars: Darkage

Clear, crisp and beautiful - top job :)
-
:yes2: Amazing! :yes: :jaw::jaw::jaw:
It's indeed a top job, the planet could look a little better (it isn't bad at the moment, though), and the part of the planet where the B5 station (the black part) crosses it looks odd, but maybe it's supposed to look that way.

I suggest using the Babylon5 font for the text, otherwise excelent...perhaps a bit of lense flare?

Dude that is the B5 font....
No lensflare as the sun is behind the planet..
-
no, thats a font called Stop, there is actually a different font used just for Babylon5, and guess what its called :p (for those of you slow people: Babylon5)
-
and if the sun's behind the planet, explain the source of light for the station and that Sharlin cruiser. :D

EEEEEEER....wrong !
You got me in very bad mood.
1. Now you realy starting annoy me.
2. What i used IS the BABYLON 5 font.
3. Just leave the damn thing for what it is.
If you got anything other to say about the render then fine post it, but if it's about the font then please do the world a favour and shut up.
matter closed.

The picture is ok as it is, but with a bit of work you could make somthing really good,
the trick is in making somthing look unusual, eyecatching, somthing not normal
Lets look at the Image, we have B5, a sharlin and Epsilon 3, all are dead center on their axis, all are pretty much parrallel to each other,
i did almost the same pic a while ago here (http://www.firedragon.com/~lwg3d/members/Reaperman/Pictures/infinity.jpg)
now note the Angle babylon 5 is at th the camera, its off center, rotated along the B axis, and well its not usual for the ey, which was one of the great things about B5, esp in the first season the unusual angel they took,
i moved the sharlins onto differnt courses, moving towards and away, the furies were added to give some motion to the scene,
I think titles are important with stills, so i experimet with differnt methods of giving the title and Credits (credits shouldAlways be on the image itself[/i]
basicly if you sit for 5 mins before setting up, and experiment a bit with the camera, you can get much more satisfying results from rendering
just my $0.02 :)
