Beam-like chargeup for laser weapons
Mmkay I was wondering if it's possible to add a beam-style chargeup to a laser weapon. [cough]Enercade[/cough] :D

I posted this in FS modding, too, but no one could give me an answer. I figured you guys would probably know.

you know this probly wouldn't be too hard, make it sort of a hold down for x seconds before the weapons start firing, maybe play a charge up sound, hell we could even put on a little ball of energy at the end of each gun point
Bobboau, bringing you products that work... in theory

Meh. I was referring to a capship weapon, with damage along the lines of that of a beam, but oh well. :)

There _would_ be a fighter version, or rather a gunship version, but that would involve putting a primary-type weapon in a secondary slot, and I dont want to get into that right now.
