playing like a shivan would be putting all of hlp in thunderdome with 50 chess sets made of razor blades

Because why not have a strong flanking attack move while your center, where your ****ing king resides, is totally in the ****ter and about to be open with that rook in e8?

Sounds such a solid move. You know what's the best move right now? To start another attack in the other flank. Because why the **** not? ATTACK WITH ALL THE THINGS.
