When I fire up the launcher I get a fatal error about a failure to read flag file. Um... ... - - - ... ASAP.

[Edit] Never mind, a reinstall seems to have done the trick. Let this remain for maybe a day or two, though, in case it didn't. THEN you're free to delete/close/show your insurance-agent/point and laugh at it.
