You could try enabling 3D shockwaves in the launcher?

I've noticed there's no longer an option in the launcher to save screenshots... is that alright or I somehow messed it up?

I never knew there was a launcher option, I just hit printscreen and check the screenshots folder.

That's cause there never was. Unless it was in a really old (as in 5+ years old) build.

there was an save .jpg .png option IIRC... true, it's no longer there.

I just erased everything in that folder and now I'm getting the saved shots again, might have been me not finding the right files back then.
