Oooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooo. :jaw:

By the way, nice thruster glows. Are they going to be the UEF's thruster glows?

Oh, hey, I see three primary banks. Nice.

The other thing that I like is the shield mesh for the Kentauroi. It looks just like a canon shield mesh. :)

Seeing the name "Reshadiye" makes think about Chinese characters. I'm fairly certain that the "Resha" bit means "red sand", and the "di" bit means "ground". I don't know what the "ye" bit means, though. :nervous:

Re: A celebration of Freespace
IMO the skybox, although nice, is too bright compared to the moonscape. Maybe applying some curves filter to it, to make the medium values darker, would help?

I had the same thought. It would probably look more natural if it was dimmed a bit, taken the bright lights in the foreground.
Rest of it looks great though

Mars has an awesome skybox. Nothing on the surface, I don't think.

Alpha 1 and Alpha 2 aren't named here. Guess Darius hasn't put in the callsigns yet!

Herra has made 3 versions of the SOL skybox. I think that the "low", the less bright one, is the most suitable for FS. I suggest that you check them out, IMO they're a serious graphical upgrade to the game.
