Is the energy used in Wings? I haven't seen any laser-like weapon yet, and there's still the energy gauge here because of the ballistic weapons. If not, couldn't it be used for primaries overheating?

Yes, there are laser weapons. They're powerful, but go through energy quickly and I prefer using the cannons.

In fact, those are (plasma, or else it won't work) pulse weapons, Wings could use some actual lasers.

I converted it, so he got it from me. But someone else fixed the smoothing before I could, and I can do proper smoothing now.

Well, I have the XFA-36A Game and I'm pretty sure ShadowGorrath has it as well. I would really love to see any fighter from the R-100 Delphinus series and the R-201 Asterozoa ingame: thanks to their shapes, they'd surely be a nice addition to your mod. I'm not sure, but you could try to import these models from YSFlight. Be warned, however, that their number of polys is very low.

No, I already have the ADF-01 Falken, which I made the Su-97 out of by removing the COFFIN dots and adding a black cockpit canopy. I was thinking of eventually replacing it with the ADFX-01 Morgan, which is a prototype of the Falken with a conventional bubble canopy (more streamlined than the Falken, glass or no glass), which Pixy flew in Ace Combat Zero:

The "ADFX-01 Falken" on your previous post led me to think you were refering to the Falken, not the Morgan. May I know why you decided to remove the COFFIN? It may have given a boost to your mod...

I strongly suggest you to look for the Fenrir, it would fit very well...

COFFIN was AC3's explanation why they didn't have proper cockpits on their models.

If you can have proper glass and proper cockpits, why not use them?

I would have expected an aerospacecraft to look more like an XB-70, but there you go....

The 2 planes are nearly identical in terms of exterior looks, the most obvious difference being in size and the fact the Lancer is most often gray, while the Blackjack is white.

Another thing- the bomber doesn't look futuristic. Compared to it's escorts it's like a museum piece.
