Goodbye website

Well it's hard to tell if Kotaku alone took us out last time because about 30 minutes after they mentioned us, Slashdot did.

Forums are still standing, guess they didn't.

Too bad ModDB cut us off their site otherwise we'd probably be somewhere in either the Top 100 Mods or Top 100 Indie Games running.

Great publicity!

Why'd they do that?

they had a legal scare from the BSG IP owners and took down *every* BSG related project down without warning, adequate explanation or to my knowledge realistic chance of appeal

As far as I can recall, the guys who were modding Nexus into a BSG game caught the attention of the license holders. I think they might have been using the original show's music though I'm not sure tbh. Anyway NBC-Universal contacted moddb and moddb then had little choice but to take down any bsg content. The without warning part is true, but in the end it would have made little difference.

agreed...they used original stuff...this was the problem i think.
Diaspora used only self-made assets,so no copyright infrangement (intellectual propriety aside)
