INFA mini campaign, need few tips.
I'm planning to create an INFA mini campaign (10-12 missions max), but before that I need few (two tips):
1) Does INFA contain any skybox/background files? (coz I sux with making own background in FRED).
2) Does INFA contain modular .tbl ? If yes that could somebody tell me how to add new ships to INFA?


Campaign will be about you and your wing joining Earth top secret weapon development program (NO, not Maeggara, nor Punisher/Icanus and any other super crap) and will be placed short before main INFA campaign.

1) Yes, there are more skyboxes. starfield.pof and starfield2.pof(asteroid field).
2) tbms. Woo highly recommends the use of tbms since tbl could give problems.

2. INFA uses a normal ships.tbl but uses tbms to override some inferno sound settings for some of the weapons.

OK, could you tell me how to use them (it's 2 or 3 years since I last modifed .tbl file).


ohhh, Megaera, well I often make mistakes with such names (I mean, when I first read Megaera as Maeggara I start to call it all the time - When I was young, I had a game "Jedi Knight", but I called it "Jedi King" all the time :)  )

Well my home language(we use the word megera to offend women) and my attention on names makes mistakes quite rare.

Tbms are easy to use. Simply copy and paste the tbl entry of the ship(or a weapon)you want to insert in a tbm file. I'm not sure but the filaname should be:
whatever-shp.tbm  for ships
whatever-wep.tbm for weapons

Place the tbm in your INFA folder and enjoy!

last thing:
From what I know INFA ships have diffrend stats that normal FS2 ships (armor class or something like that).
I plan to put one or two new ships, so what I need to do, for example to make thirdparty bomber not to be abnormally weak/strong comparing to INFA ship??

Well in Steadfast we noticed that FS1/FS2 fighters and even bombers blew up easily, so we have decided to improve their specs rather than changing the damage inflicted by all Inferno weapons...

Compare the hitpoints of the ships you want to add with the hitpoints of INFA ships. If you want to add a cruiser, read the hitpoints of Leviathans,Fenris,Vidars and Tyrs and then analyze the warship you want to add(is it supposed to be heavily armored? It' fast and meneuverable and fragile as consequence?).

OK, I mannaged to put what I need into INFA with armor stats.

The last thing I need to know is:
Does stealth fighters like Pegasus have a special .tbl code for their stealth ability or they were created by FRED "invisible to sensors" and "Primitive sensors"?

If it's special code then what I need to put to .tbl to make it working?
