Yeah, poor Laird. His death hit me the same way Gunney's did...they weren't front-and-center characters, but they were characters I'd come to rely on. I guess now Laird can join his family finally, though.

That was an interesting article talking about Gaeta's motives, and I tend to agree with its analysis. Gaeta is very much a tortured soul; he's definitely not been the same since New Caprica, and the loss of his leg (and the resulting amount of excruciating pain) has really broken him down. It's no wonder that Zarek was able to "turn him to the dark side", as it were. I am really excited for the next episode now, I hope it doesn't disappoint.
