Hello Everyone,

Firstly thanks to Droid803 for this awesome mod (well, at least it looks and sounds awesome, as soon as I will be able to play it I'll confirm for the rest  :)).

The problem is that after I start Freespace 2 (ergo, click on Play from the wxLauncher), I receive an error that says:

I have MediaVPs 3.6.12 installed, I tried running the latest nightly build (10222), the one recommended on the release post (9292), and I also tried the standard 3.7.0 and the 10148 Build with no success.

The standard Freespace 2 campaign and Wings of Dawn run without a problem, so the problem probably lies in Dimensional Eclipse, but I just started today with Freespce 2 modding so I am not very familiar with it.

Every help would be apperciated.

By reading the post you linked I learned that what I get is actually a warning. I can ignore it and press No, but then when I try to start a mission the warning will just keep on popping up.

Hm, something doesn't like the ejection-seat script.
i didn't write that script so I have no idea what happened.

You could just go and delete ejectSeat-sct.tbm if you want - it's there purely for aesthetic reasons and is in no way integral to functioning of the mod. Should at least get rid of the warning popup.

Yes, that's what I imagined. I have no idea where this script is, I didn't install any additional mod.

EDIT: My bad, I think now it works. At first I followed the instructions in this topic but now by just installing the patch I found here it doesen't give any error.

Am I missing something? Is that patch all I need?

I think you are both right, in the Campaign selection it was written Ashen Wings instead of Dimensional Eclipse. Now it's fine.

I was wondering the same. But in the MediaVP installation these were out of the folder, so I thought they should go in the root.
