Title: Hecate V3
Post by: TrashMan on September 18, 2005, 07:59:58 am
Changes sine the V2 version:

- fixed UV mapping on some places
- replaced the lower fin and engines with completely new one
- replaced large turrets with new ones
- added some minor detail here and there

If this be the high-poly version, my lad, 'tis needing a mite more work. A few more screenshots wouldn't be amiss, but from what I can see the mapping's a cryin' shame, and the polies have gone far and wide.

As I said, this is a bit enhanced version of hte V2 one.

It doesn't go in the redicolously high poly range like the HTL Orion, as I feel 5600 polys is enough for a decent ship and I do plan on making a few mission with more than 1 capship in them without turning the game into a slideshow...

You don't have to like it nor do you have to use it - your choice.

In the case of the Hecate... more polys. Also less stretched textures.

Doesn't look that bad actually, but could use some work :)
