Hi, just as the topic states, my FS2 keeps crashing repeatedly and I can't quite figure out why.
System:
Athlon X2 2400
4 GB RAM
ASUS M2N SLI
Radeon X1950Pro 512MB
Soundblaster VX 5.1
EDIT: OS is Windows Vista x64
Drivers are up to date/recommended.
Catalyst is 10.2 as recommended by AMD for my card.
I had several crashes in the first training mission, which led me to configuring my codecs and I found fs2.exe in the list of blacklisted *.exes by ffd filters, so I added the FSO.exes as well. This had helped a bit, as I was able to complete the mission, but my luck lasted only so long. Upon accepting the second mission the game freezes up again and after a couple of seconds I'm back on desktop. I followed the instructions to generate a log file, so here goes:
If you need my DXdiag x32/64 please let me know and I will add them as well.
