Title: nav buoys
Post by: chrishaden on September 14, 2002, 12:50:23 pm
Hey, I could really use a nav buoy in FRED 2.  I couldn't help but notice the fact that I can't use them.  I installed the Freespace to Freespace 2 mod but i didn't have any in it.  Please help me.

There's a nav bouy as standard in FS2. The GTNB Pharos. You come across them in the first mission of the second SOC loop. The one where you have to rescue Snipes from the EMP nebula.

If the problem is that it's fly-through you can remove the no_collide flag from the ships table.

As far as I know, there is no FS->FS2 mod...do you mean the Port?
Oh, and by the way,

Or do you mean the Navlights?  If no, than yeah, the pharos is your best bet.
