i think i want to actually do something with my time on the computer, so i was curious, what are the best begginer free renders and what is the best free beggining model program? advice is good, and i know alot of you tutorials so yeah :D

Probably be POV-Ray, if you don't want warez or a severely limited demo. I'd caution you, though, that POV-Ray is little better than coding the models directly in OpenGL. You get what you pay for, I suppose.
Oh, and Blender is supposed to be good. Really, really good. But I haven't figured it out in over two years, and that might mean something.

get moray, it's a UI for pov.
You can d/l maya4.5 ( the latest one ) on the site, it's an unlimited demo, you just can't use it to make money. probably you can do this with all the other 3d packages in fact, but maya is the only one I've actually seen, with my own eyes, etc

Didja know that POVRay takes LegoCad DAT files as input?? You could make something entirely from primitives that way.
