A cross between the last one and something from the WC universe. It's Deimos size, at the moment. Feel free to resize if you wish.
I tried to keep the textures at the same proportions. It's not perfect, but it'll do.
Oh, and I didn't feel like turreting it. :p
-
:yes: better thn the other one :D
-
It looks good
-
btw, can you fly through the lunch thingie, if u can that will be sweet =p
-
Yeah, that would be cool. Just make the fighterbay way back in the ship.
-
Yes. Look at second pic.
-
Its just sometimes it may look fly thruable bbut u cant actually go into them, i dunno what causes it but it happens :doubt:
-
can u just make a model in any 3d program and get the right plugin then get it into the game? otr what like i really don't under stand what program u are using
-
I take it English isn't your first language?
Anyway, from what I understand, you can use most 3d modeling programs. You then MUST use Truespace. You skin it, and do all of the technical crap in Truespace, and with a HEX editor. Then you use .cob to .pof.
-
I used 3DS MAX to model that.
There is no way to get it from MAX to FS with some sort of plug-in. I would export it to .3ds and then to .cob and then after a visit in Truespace convert it to the .pof-format FS uses. That's the process, as I understand it. I just model the ships. Others take care of the TS and .pof-bits.
Technically you can use any 3D program, that allows you to save the model in a format, that can be convertet to a format that TS can read.

I think it's Flordan redneckian english, a dialect of standard redneck.

Either that or he's just lazy. Just so you know, you'll see everybody on this forum typing things out. Also, type slower, to many typos. I used to do that all of the time, now I have about half the typos.
Oh yeah, Welcome to the HLPBB!!!!!!!
-
i have typos and cant spell half the time, but i dont care, so um ...... YEAH!;7 ;)
-
right Haeds. no typos ever
From thro:D

THAT'S THE TCS VICTORY!!!
Either that, or it's a virtual doppelganger with a different dress on.....:nervous:
-
Is it really the Victory? I played WCIII on the 3DO(That long ago). It looks nice nonetheless, BUT IT NEEDS WEAPONS! Someone arm this sucker and relink it , it looks awesome!!!
Great Job Ryx!!!
BTW Zechs is modling another carrier The White Base (for the Gundam TC) so be nice and give him lots of help!
:drevil: It's comming together nicely (my evil plan)
-
That's alright. Like someone said earlier, it's better than the other one.
-
THX :)
-
SD: It's a lot LIKE the Victory.....a brick with a fly through section! :D
-
:D No comments :)

You mean because of the 'invisible' textured panes blocking most cavities in FS ships?
-
There's a hole in the middle and goes straight through.
Wonderful! With a bigger tower on top (and a slight cut in size) it would be exactly how I picture the Sagitarius carrier.
-
I was messing with it in Truespace 5.0, its a nice model. BUt when i POF'ed it lol......it was the size of a football!:p!!!
Anyway after some careful sizeing and whatnot I made it about 1-Kilometer long. Its just too bad i dont know how to make turrets or i'd turret this bad boy for deployment. good work there ryx.
-
A Klick is too big for the Sage. Half a klick should be more than enough.

this'll be the first Texturing question that i've ever frielded but it has something to do with naming the texture or specific area, i bielive , invisible, as said before. it has been disccused on te forum before, that is for sure.
My sure fire guess would be to check on the arcadia... after all you can fly through the middle of that
-
The hole in the Arcadia is geometry, as is the launchbay of this carrier. If I understand your Q correctly.

But u do realise that some of us dont know the 1st thing about making models so stop being a mofo ....

i was thinkin of the Hecates/Orions/Typhons/Hatshepsuts/ and so on's fighter bays. The arcadia is geometry tho now that i think bout it', i have no idea about what his is tho...
