unfortunately it will be sometime before I can find adequate hosting (files-large and small) for a worthy price especially in australia... :( but when I do I'll be able to host around 20 accounts for people here that need them...

although for all those people who need image hosting here are the details for the site or you can email me and I'll post it up within 48 hours depending on the day you email me... I'm on the net sunday, wednesday and friday evenings Perth, Aust standard time (GMT+8.00)

site: //www.20m.com
go to login page and enter;
username: freespace2
password: echelon27b

graphic size limit: 250KB I think??
then click edit site and manage files...

Few pointers..
1. create html page with title and logo (optional)...don't know how! email me [email protected] (subject line: upload)
2. create a link to your image on this page
3. post html page link in forum (reason is - outside linking not allowed directly with image)
4. thats all there is to it...


If you think you either can't be bothered or just can't do it give me an email and it'll be done. :D

20 MBs of Space, as I said before the only limit is 250KB file size and it also doesn't support a lot of scripting like PHP, SQL, etc...

This Server will be dedicated to images only and small files, if abused someone else can maintain it... :nod::p

Of course after numerous tests I found it does not allow outside image linking (meaning it shows the image straight in forum) or even normal url image links (just a url to a image).

as soon as i get a chance to get the new webserver up, it'll have a hard drive dedicated to HLP.  i guess by special request i could set up FTP accounts (private) to specific people... and if HLP ever wanted to switch to its own server it could.
