Title: Crimson Class WIP
Post by: Styxx on September 18, 2002, 09:27:41 am
After a long time I finally got some time to get MAX back to work on my comp, and started work on a ship from the story I'm working on, Storms and Sorrows. This is a work in progress for the Crimson Class Destroyer:

Why does a Zecton-drive vessel need glowing exhaust? :D

The glowing strips are the main zecton manipulator fields generators - a side effect of the large-scale manipulation is the aggregation of photons close to the field base. The smaller glowing circles are from the secondary engines - fusion thrusters.

I just didn't bother putting different materials to them yet. :p

And besides, it wouldn't look as cool without some glowing stuff. :D

And people complain about how MY stuff is dark...

I like it. For some reason, it reminds me of a heat sink, but I like it anyway.
