As many of you already know, my current webhost is a piece of crap, as when I try and post an image here I get, "REMOTE LINKING FORBIDDEN". Now, this is most annoying, and I want to know if anyone can suggest to me a decent host. I have tried freewebspace.com and geocities and they're both sh1te.

Wait a few days and a solution may present itself.
*goes to kick Kamikaze*
In the mean-time, PM me the links and I'll host 'em fer now. Or better yet, e-mail me the pics.
-
I'd host you, but you'd have to pay for your portion of the webspace. And since I'm already sublet, that idea might not seem to attractive...
-
try renaming the images to .TXT files and link to the .TXT files
otherwise apply for HLP hostin
-
Yeah, brilliant idea. Can tell you use computers a lot.
If you name something a text file, you WILL get a text file. Not a picture- unless you tell someone to turn the downloaded file's tag to that of whatever type of image file you're using, which is even less convienient than posting the full, normal web address. I have no intention of rooting around in my cache, or spending ten minutes to download some picture into a specific file and changing the file tag, only to find that the damn thing got corrupted along the way.

Yes, normally renaming to txt would cause it to transfer as an ASCII file instead of a binary, but for some stupid reason (probably through their screwing with htaccess) this sometimes works.

not true... on many 'FREE' hosting services you can rename a picture to a .TXT file, and then when you link to the .TXT file it displays the picture... perhaps that doesn't work on MOST servers, but on a lot of free ones... it does!

-
I can see it, but for some reason I can see all anti-hotlink pics, even when people use Geocities.
