For all you people that have been telling me that table files in my VPs don't work I have news for you. I just tested the VP Precidence rules and they work.
Numerical Ranked Precidence:
1) Disk Files
2) Disk VPs: Alphabetically sorted
3) CD Files
4) CD VPs: Alphabetically sorted
In otherwords "Babylon5demo.vp" overrides "root_fs2.vp" as it is doing on my hard drive right now

"Why Climb it?" - "Because it's there."

So the thing to remember for custom VPs is to make sure that they are higher in the alphabetical food chain than the standard FS2 ones, right?
Easy enough fix...

yeah... ace had problems because he is hard of hearing

Kazan I have already discussed this several times with you.
Do not assume that the user is the cause of all issues. As I stated several times, and as you can observe by looking at the names of the .vps they are and have always been correct since the public release of Twilight.
Now I see that you want to take such claims of errors with your tools off of yourself, that's understandable.
Yet it is proven from replies that the packaged edition on some systems has shown errors while the non packaged does not have any of these issues so to speak of.
I have said this several times and each time you either assume I am flaming or slandering you, or you then go on claiming I improperly name the files or some similar mishap.

well I have a ~175 meg Babylon 5 VP sitting on my harddrive right now that would love to argue with you about it being my fault
There is a nice quote about computers that comes to mind - I cannot remember who said it but it is: "99% of all computer errors are user errors."

And 99.47% of all statistics are made up on the spot.
-
that was a real quote shrike

So was mine, in fact. I can't remember who it was by, but he was some math guy.
Anyhow, the moral is, things in the real world never work quite as well as they do in the lab.

Ace and I have determined it's an athlon problem.. damn AMD and they're inability to properly emulate a 82x86

hmm

I guess that's why twilight won't work on my comp then... Crap, the unpacked version has been packed like a *****, Ace, you could have put the folders in it, instead of all the files like that (http://dynamic.gamespy.com/~freespace/ubb/noncgi/rolleyes.gif)
