How to make beams in psp7 - use the spray can, lower the hardness, mess about with size until it looks right. Draw a line (still with the spray can) and then repeat the procedure with a smaller, almost white (but more transparent) line over the top. Hence you have a rudimenatary and psudeo-glowy beam! :D

Does this look any good? (Its my first try at beams)
Ashrak : On your beams... They look too solid. Remeber they are energy streams not whips :p.
EDIT : 666 posts!

Any more opinions on Ashraks beam or mine? :p

yours needs a bright core, ashark one is too... clean? needs a fallof or something, right now it's just 3 bands of plain white and blue.

Try making a rectangle and thin it down each time and slowly change colors in PSP7. It should only take about 15 layers and the max opacity will be the white core and have it at 90%. Average it at about 9 or 13 and increase brightness according.
I'd show you, but I'm too lazy to make one. :)

Well this was
A). My first try

Figures. Suppose I need to learn HTML and build a website for a change.
edit: Ok, we'll try this. I take no credit for anything in the image except the phasers and the background.
