Ok, the previous thread was ridiculous - far too much crap to wade through. Here's how it's gonna work. Everyone with a request that has not been fulfilled yet, post here, in short, concise terms. No fluff, just the meat.

Every person will post only one post! If you want to add or remove something, edit. Any posts beyond the first one will be deleted without further warning.

Any post not containing a request will be deleted without further warning.

Any post containing unneeded "spam" will be edited to contain the request and nothing else.

As admins complete a request, they will edit that post and mark that item as completed. If something isn't fulfilled right concerning a request, make note of it in your one post.

Every project-related request (internal access, avatars, etc) must come from the project head (or, in case of his absence, a previously nominated right-hand man/slave). Requests from any person to recieve internal access/avatars for himself will be ignoredl Those must come via the project head.

I think that's it. Because of these guidelines, this thread should remain very short - make sure it stays that way, or we will. {insert evil laugh here} ;)

I request either access to my art gallery to update it or somebody else to take over Steak's job of updating everybody's art galleries. :nod:

Two requests for me:

1) an update on when "Devil and the Deep Blue" (aka "DatDB")will be hosted on HLP, with accompanying forum. (Call me over-eager, but I just want to know when this will happen. :) ) I've already told my staff to provide the needed answers to Shrike's questions. So far as I know, more than half of my staff has responded already; the rest should be responding soon.

2) As I am the project leader of "DatDB", I here by request an avatar for myself and my staff members. Suggested design of said Avatar: one red capital "D" in the top half of the avatar and a blue capital "DB" taking up the bottom half of the avatar. design of the background of the avatar can be left to HLP's discretion. :)

If there is anything else, I'll edit my post later on.

1. When we get all the hosting reuqests we will send them all to Gamespy in one bundle. Until then you will have to hold on.

EDIT: Just wanted to check up on the progress for DatDB hosting and if there was anything else I need to give you guys. As for hosting issues (FTP access or whatever), just let me know what to do and I'll coordinate with Lonestar. Any word on when the DatDB forum(s) (public and private) will be available?

As for the avatar request, well, I haven't found one I REALLY liked yet, so that will have to wait until I do.

I gotta do it soon, though, before my staff gets the idea to lynch me out of frustration... :D

2) What is needed to get an Avatar?  I will need two once they're hosted, so what should I do to make them?

New Hosting Update Request (Oct 9).  Hades is getting pissed again, so tell me something I can calm him down with ;)

Remove 158th avatar and forum (again) please.

Request hosting for the tester list (http://www.ijbrooks.demon.co.uk/tom/icqlist.htm) and my test exes. I shouldnt be using the current web space its at now.

OK, none of you got that. Anyway. Hosting for Utopia, inc. (see sig), requested, because this week or next I'm scheduled to knock the front teeth out of the host domain's owner, and I'm fairly sure that'll mean no more page. That, and it's pretty damn near the only way I'm gonna get a real staff. If I don't get staff, the mod's dead, so you can just consider it an extension of the art forum, with a half-assed attempt at a commercial side. If I ever get a client due to hosting, I could probably work out whatever it costs you to host the site as HLP's share. Over that, I have no idea who I'd send the profits to.

Right..... Can I get an email from you with your requested subdirectory, login and password, as well as the email to get the hosting info sent to?

um if it's not too much trouble, for those that can , will, and know how, can i request an art  PAGE ? Some of you know i've asked before, but perhaps more "official" routes could be more effective ... :D

just to know if there is any news about hosting (haven't heard a word in a while)
and secondary, we need a forum, must we wait till we get hosted or can we have it sooner?

AFAIK Shrike sent off the hosting requests already, dunno where things stand with that. // Sandwich

guys, i know that hosting doesn't depend on you but on gamespy but since things are going drammaticly slow wouldn't it be possible to have at least the forum, even before getting hosted??

I would like FTP access to AP, and moderator powers in both of the forums, as HeX is in the same boat as GE, and I have stepped up to the helm of AP

Update the main HLP page so AP has an icon on the hosted section.

Can we hear that from HeX? :nod:

Assigning FTP access to certain users is something that requires sending an email to GS. And the only one who handles that, or even knows how to, is Shrike. I mentioned The new FTP access requests in the Staff forum, and he said he's get to it the next day.

LtNarol, Stealth, (whose latest posts were deleted for tidiness' sake) sorry about the tepid waters here. ;) Listen up:

When you have an update to your request, edit your post, and place that update after any remarks by the admins, if such exist.  I've been skimming over this topic once in a while over the past few weeks, and because most of your edits were not after our comments, I missed them. Sorry about that, but if you do it this way, hopefully I'll be able to see the new stuff easier.

Two things:

Forums:  Anyone hosted who wants a forum, get ahold of me personally.  ICQ is the best but PMs work.  The reason is that I have to know certain things about the forum you'd want set up and it's much easier all round to do that privately.  Any requests in this thread for forums are unlikely to be acted on quickly.

FTP access:  Again, because I need certain information for those who want FTP access, I require an email sent to my email at [email protected] where I will handle FTP access requests.  Because it appears there are several people requesting access to existing projects, I ask them to send me an email and I'll deal with them privately.  The only way I will deal with FTP requests is over email.

What does this mean?  Basically it means if you want one of those two things done you have to get ahold of me, instead of vice versa.

Seeing as I don't have time for my site anymore, and only the basic structure of the site was completed, I need the avatar and access to the support forum removed :(

Not sure what to do with the FTP account, I have not logged in for quite awhile now.

Modding101, in the hosted/ subdirectories of the dynamic4 and 3dap servers.

Read the top announcement on the HL forum, it details changes made to the forum structure - you need to ensure your project leader puts your name down for access to forums you should have access for. The announcement tells it all :)

The Realization Project has just got up and running. We are bump mapping the FS and FS2 ships, detailing textures and maybe eventually will model more detail onto the ships. All in the interest of renderers and the SCP.

We have only just started but really could do with a common ftp for the files and web site. So, can we have hosting pleeeeeessss?:) :) :)

I have set up a tempory web site on virgin but I don't have much space and can't share the ftp. The address is
