Title: How to...?
Post by: Unknown Target on September 26, 2002, 03:09:41 pm
Draw anime-style clothes (like the wrinkles and stuff)

I've got a semi-Macross/Robotech pic, plus a little dash of my own that I want to draw, but I need help with the clothing....

I don't know how to explain it like this... with words only... :nervous:

err... one way is to experiment.... just start drawing the outlines of the clothes, make curves and wrinkles (of course... keep in mind how the body goes of course) as much as you like -and try to think 3dimensional. That way you should be able to determine how much of them will look good and what will look realistic and what not. Also, studying the characters drawn by experts is not a bad idea either

...  hope that this helpes at least a bit, I know it wasn't much :p
