Title: Some music news
Post by: Razor on September 30, 2002, 02:00:27 pm
I was just browsing the site of my favorite rock group BOSTON and I ran into this.  This famous group plans to release a new album 22. October this year (thats pretty soon) so I wanted to share this with all Boston fans on HLP.

Here is the cover of the new album.

And here (http://boston.org/) is the site you can visit for more info.

GO BOSTON! :D

Yeah I love that song.

I woke up this morning and the sun was up.
Turn on some music
to start my day
and ask my self where I heard this song
I cross my heart since she slipped away

It's more than a feeling, more than a feeling
when I hear that old song plaaaay ( more than a feeling)
I think I'm dreaming
It's more than a feeling
When I see my Mariane walk awaaaaay.

Of cousre, followed by great music :D

Boston owns. I cant believe that they are publishing a new album. *jumps with joy*

You are kidding man! They were the rock and roll kings of the seventies. They still live today and make great music. If you want to I will burn ya a CD with my favorite songs in MP3 format and send them to ya. They rule!

Seventies?  A bit old for my tastes, I'm afraid.  I'm not a big fan of music older than I am. ;)

Well they arent too old for ya. They started in 1976 and you are from 1980s so it's not a big difference. 4 years! Bah

By the way, congrats on your new avatar. Are you ever gonna settle with one or are you gonna change all the time?

Yeah BOston is good.  I'll be sure to tell my Comm Tech teacher, he really digs boston.

On the topic of other music, the New Chilli peppers disc is so very sweet.  AS is the debut disk from Theory of a Deadman.  They're from Vancouver I think.  Sound similar, but heavy, Nickleback.

Anything remotely Nickleback sounding is bad. Theory of a deadman = Nickleback with a pornstar as a singer instead of jesus.

Oh and disturbed are really below average at best.

(Can you get a tongue smiley that doesn't look so god damn smug?)

Ahh!  I accidentally removed (http://kier.3dfrontier.com/smilies/squeeze.gif)

I'll have to fix that at home.

As for :p, I like the sheer smugness and arrogance of it.

Kudos to Plasma for making it, although I'd love to say it was down to me. I thought it looked like the Akira orbital satellite that nukes Tetsuo but nevermind ;)

I tend to disagree with your Nickelback remarks  , but hey, everybody to their opinion.

Anyway, KoRn kicks Disturbed's ass. :p
Got Untouchables? :D

Collective Soul (one of my top 5 bands) i'm going to go see October 19th :D

We're going to drive up to the Octoberfest and go see them (drive up that afternoon, see them, then get a motel, spend the night there, then leave the next morning :D )
it's gonna be awesome

one of my other favorite bands:  Dream Theater came to Houston a few weeks ago, but i missed them :(

EDIT:  I forgot to say too... i get to see Hoobastank and Boxcar Racer next month at the Buzzfest

Hey I want an aditional avatar. :D
Oh and by the way, since I am not just a tapper, can something be done about my status?

Now back to the topic. Boston is really cool. The new album has totally new songs and one from the previous albums called Living for you.
Anyway, I would recommend any fan of good rock and roll music to buy this CD. You will not regreat. I know I won't. :D

i hated every track on it except the first and 7th when i bought it. Now it's ok, but it could be heavier

Whoever said Disturbed sucks.. well i tihnk their new one kinda does. The first 2 tracks are meh, a lil catchy, the rest osunds the same, except the last track. It was weird/different/cool to hear him "singing"

As for their first album, that is on eof my favorite Heavy Metal Cd's, next to Static X's second one.

Nickleback is ok, Newest Album is cool, 39 damn minutes for 14 bucks tho. And he does look like Jesus, but that is kinda cool, and he sounds awesome.

KoRn is ok.. way to popular now, but the new Album kicks ass. Almost as good as Disturbed's first :p
