Title: VBB Bible
Post by: Shrike on October 04, 2002, 02:17:48 am
Does anyone happen to have the VBB bible stashed away somewhere?  It's pretty oldschool, I couldn't find it reposted here on HLP.

uh, yeah. adding a 2 just before the .htm and pressing enter will bring up page 2. to get page three, you'll have to go advanced, replacing the 2 with a 3 may just do the trick. same with 4 and 5.

This was the best part anyhow.

[q]On the First day of the Universe, the V Gods spun out the stars and Nebulea, pulling them from the warp and woof of creation, scattering them through the heavens, weaving them into forms of surreal, alien beauty.

On the Second day of the Universe, the V Gods molded the myriad planets and moons, asteroids and comets from the remains of the stars and nebulea.

On the Third day of the Universe, the V Gods looked down upon their handiwork, and said "THIS IS GOOD...BUT IT LACKS" In saying, they formed Subspace from the remains of their previous work, connecting their creations with one another.

On the Fourth day of the Universe, the Server was down.

On the Fifth day of the Universe, the V Gods made the Ancients, to be their greatest triumph. However, the evil known as 'Interplay' caused the Shivans to be made, spawning them from the land of Subspace. The Shivans annihilated the Ancients, pissing the V Gods off to no end.

On the Sixth day of the Universe, the V Gods made the Terrans and Vasudans, those who would turn back the tide of the Shivan Evil, cleansing the universe of the foul stench of Bad Marketing. And so they did, but the Evil of Interplay handed the Terrans and Vasudans a pyrrhic victory.

On the Seventh day of the Universe, the V Gods created Beer and Beam Weapons, giving the Terrans and Vasudans these weapons of light. The V Gods looked upon their handiwork, and said "THIS IS GOOD", and went down to the neighbourhood pub. Sadly, the Shivans stole the plans when the V Gods were at the pub.

On the Eigth day of the Universe, the V Gods looked down upon their place of worship, the VBB, and saw that it was good. It was to be the shining example for all. They populated it with many Newbies and Fanboys alike. Here was to be a place where the final solution to stopping the Shivan and their foul master Interplay was to be found.

On the Ninth day of the Universe, the V Gods picked a Terran VBB post leader named Setekh, and seven disciple fanboys, R128Thunder, Hunt Smacker, Wildwolf, MProk, GriffonUK, Icefire, and Payne. They also chose one of their own to be the Vasudan administrator known to all as daveB. These chosen ones were to lead the masses into the light of the blessed V.

On the Tenth day of the Universe, the V Gods saw that one was needed to chronicle their exploits. They picked the one known as Eisthmo, blessing him with the gift of prescience. In their wisdom, they picked one of the multitudes to be their prophet, the Prophet Shrike. [/q]

Nah, IPAndrew's 'There Will Not Be A FreeSpace3' thread was my fave. I spammed like a bastard and no mistake. Ahh... happy days...

You know they only closed the old place down to stop me making FanBoy, right?

*steals a microphone and starts to sing*

"Those were the days my friend,
we taught they never end,
we sing and dance forever and the day,
we live the life we choose,
we fight and never loose,
those were the days oh yes those were the days..."

I was a prof these days. Some guys made a list of the most active spammers. I WAS THERE. After our friend watsisname of course :D

That had to be the biggest spam thread since the original TAS; I think it exceeded 1000 posts, right? :p
