How abouts this: Someone makes a program that allows you to open up .cob files, and re-scale them to Freespace specifications. For instance, it gives you the average fighter size, and you can re-scale your ship to around their, because it tells you how big it would be in Freespace 2.
I'm asking because when I make a model in MS3D, it comes out as big as a destroyer, when it's only a fighter.

PCS does let you alter the scale so if you decrease the scale a bit you should be able to solve the problem.
The other choice is to extract a fighter and turn it into a cob and user that as a guide in Milkshape.

PCS does scaling? How?

I can't figure out how to do ANYTHING in PCS, that's why I use ModView.

The only things I do in PCS are conversion and dockpoints. But I still don't fully understand dockpoints, so I just usually steal data from other similar pofs and just adjust co-ordinates slightly!;7

The new version doesn`t. But the old version does. Go to the Conversion menu, pick options and then change the conversion scaling factor to something else.
As for PCS in general I find the old version quite a nice program to use but the new version isn`t stable enough for me yet.
If you want the old version of PCS I recommend you get The Alliance Productions FreeSpace 2 Kit from here (http://alliance.sourceforge.net/FS2Kit.shtml)
