nearly all textures are copyed and pasted off of two FS2 bombers the red bits were used to put something on the thin arm bits red is temp what a bout blue? or completly diffrent?

maybe gray, with some sort of blue wiring effect on the top and bottom.... at the mo it makes the struts look really thin.

Yep, but you don't really want to empahasise that IMO.  I think the textures currently make it look a wee bit like a ribbon... a bit wobbly.

Of course, it's up to you, that's just my opinion.

a ribbon, yeah thats a good description actualy (those engines are not really needed in its role - they are ment to be used as atmosphere engines as well (hence the fan like thing on front)

You say this is your first?

Very nice.

Perhaps use the blue line effect that the stealth Pegasus uses. Just copy some of the textures from the Pegasus for the arm things.

first textured one, I have about 15 geomerty only ships (10 caps) (I have 2 untextured cargo ships in game and woo! DO THEY GO! (not speed) (2 Carotids against a Bulldog always win!)

very nice  (http://dynamic.gamespy.com/~freespace/ubb/noncgi/smile.gif) for my part, I would just map the wings like the rest of the ship, biut that's just my opinion, as people says

Um... Sorry for my ignorance, but did you do the model? If so, that's very nice! Textures are good too. Don't worry, you'll get better!  (http://dynamic.gamespy.com/~freespace/ubb/noncgi/smile.gif)

"Space, Above and Beyond"

Nice model, I agree the red looks a bit odd.
Perhaps adding battle damage / rust etc to the red texture would bring it up to the level of the rest of the texturing.

it was tempaory, a 3 second bit in PSP!
The fighter is not nearly read for anything its was intended for Thrusters, insgnia, debries, guns sytems, LODs, etc all have to be done (only thrusters and isgnia are troblue)
