Post by: Stealth on October 17, 2002, 01:01:39 pm
does the "Sci fi sim of the year edition" of FS2 come with extra missions?  i'm too lazy to get my box out, but people say it does!  if it does, where are they located on the VPs?

In the Scit-FI version, the extra missions are in the mission simulator. Also, the singleplayer templar is extra.

Yep...they were originally released as user made missions IIRC...and the'yre at the VWatch Archives.  I don't know the names of 'em offhand, but I think the Boomerang campaign was one...and a few by Icefire, Kellan and Ace I think... just look for the top ranked ones, I guess.

No it's not - not the singleplayer version, not for non-Sim of the Year editions. :(

Yeah but anyone can have Operation Templar by converting the multiplayer version to singleplayer through FRED2.  A bit of work....but your not missing too much really.  And its freaking hard without respawns.

I had that at one time, but it was not hard for me with the changes I made ;)
Someone should get them all together and then post them all up as a addon pack on the :v: Whach Archives

Is that the one where the Two Typhons go at it? I never realised that that campaign was supposed to be Pre FS2 untill a while ago. I was so bored/annoyed when i thought somebody forgot to beam free all.
