Title: VBB for newbies?

I think the VBB has turned into a Newbie-only forum. There seems to be a massive insurgency there all of a sudden.

I used to be a patriotic VBB user, but I'm sticking to HLP forums now... I've converted.

I wouldn't call myself a newbie but others might...

(I made a ship out of primatives in truespace, why doesn't it work in FS2? - newbie)

(I made a ship with full pysical subsystems that have dead and live debris, same with turrets and trival systems, why carn't I have more that 50 blowing up in one mission? - kinda thing I would do)

Just part of the natural cycling of people through a forum.  The "Old Guard" moves on to greener pastures, while newbies grow into regulars on the forums.  Eventually, the Old Guard returns, only to *****  that its full of newbies.

BTW, officially, the Bar was the first spin-off of the VBB.

Well at least in the SW forum abut half the "newbies" are merely vets hiding behind new names  lol

i started on the vwbb and now post on hlp too - but i think the vwbb general sections isn't as good anymore so for general stuff i come here now  but the b5 project keeps me tied there - as for teh vbb very very rarely go visiting over there
