does anyone one know how to get beams to work on Shivan fighters? cos i've altered the targeting laser to do damage and have made it look shivan. Now the GTVA figthers it works no problem but shivans they don't work even if i replace there pirmary weapons in the tbl with the targeting laser.
Has anyone put new music into the game? i've managed to get offspring put onto the game with out altering the tbls and have to say its goes well with the game.

Silly Q, but did you do beams-free? And I think there's some problems with non-player use of the targeting laser, but I might be wrong.

what type of beams is it? i believe the targeting laser is type 4 and only the player can use that. (http://dynamic.gamespy.com/~freespace/ubb/noncgi/smile.gif)

If you are trying to make ships use the targeting laser then it dosent work because AI dosent need to target anything (http://dynamic.gamespy.com/~freespace/ubb/noncgi/wink.gif)
