Nutcase 2:
Son of Sam Etc...

Funny thing is, that guy lived in Washington (west coast) waaay away from virginia... with his step-son (who may be involved in the sniping)
Also interesting is that a pro (he hasn't missed a single person, all suffered death/heavy injury) at sniping (army person) would actually go rampaging killing random (supposedly) people off on the other side of the continent...
There are some theories it's all a bush conspiracy (considering I haven't heard some "terroist bad" speech from bushy boy, I guess it could be possible...) but I guess we'll be in the dark for now..

Are we not allowed to have nutcases? Everytime someone goes nuts it's a government thing? Is everyone in this country a stable person who wouldnt dream of this? Serial killers are nothing new.
But now my mom's scared to get gas even though we live like 30 miles away  I doubt he'll ever go past Baltimore, if he even goes that far.

Meh, this whole thing's getting ridiculous. Just like everything does, if allowed to fester in the DC area for more than a week.

Bush is obsessed with anti-terroism, I don't see why he wouldn't comment on a case that got this big...
-
...Because it's not done by foreigners, and thus he doesn't give a ****?
"Terrorism", in the US right now, is anyone from another country killing people. Local boys are just murderers, which is something far more acceptable to be.
That, and what the hell would he say? "In light of this recent serial killing, we have resolved to bomb the following countries in retaliation..."? He's a one-trick pony. Don't expect him to learn another one.

Because there's a difference between terrorists and serial killers?
Terrorists usually have a motive, whether political, or religious, or whatever, and use terror to get that point across. You are the enemy, you have to die.
Serial killers just like killing a lot of people, for a number of more.....uh colorful reasons? My dog said so, blondes remind me of my mother who beat me, they're CIA agents after my stash of old Heathcliff comics, I was just testing it out.
Sure, he could be a terrorist, killing people as a protest to........something, but he could just be another Son of Sam, I think that's why they haven't said anything yet.
That's just my opinion, and I'm hardly an expert on any of this.
-
This thing is big news in my area since the first events took place here but has it really become that big a deal around the nation? I find this guy more or less your commonplace serial killer, just with an innovative way of doing his work, but it's nothing new or big enough to make a fuss over. :D
I think this guy is just the "Son of Sam" type people mentioned earlier since he could kill or scare people a lot, lot more effectively using other methods, which he would certainly be smart enough to employ were he part of some organization. (this whole thing does not have that bin Laden "master's touch" to it)

*shrug*
well, I expected maybe a grunt of disapproval or even a 'how sad' one-word speech out of bushy - ah well
Hey who's read that book that was released 'bout bush? called 'bushinisms' - funny thing that
oh and CP, check the news it's all over (the media was saying this was another shooting-game caused killing saying that 'it was similar to modern shooting game scenarios' or some crap like that  )
-
No longer innovative. You get todays news? Bastard sold out.
For some reason, that pisses me off more than the fact that he shoots people for a hobby. I dunno.
-
oh, I have seen enough of the game bashing in the newspapers by now... :p

eh...has there been some new development?

You guys didn't know?
He demanded 10 million dollars
-
oh that, I heard of that...
*turns off tv*
So it ends up that it's some money hungry bastard, he'll have a hard time trying to spend that money...
-
That's old news; anything happen in the last few hours?
-
this could be terrorism, but I don't think it is, he is totaly alone (if it is one or more people, there acting like on force of murder), relitivly quiet, and small scale, it's more likely some anti-government nut or insain retired solder (this isn't very personal), this does not seem like Al Queda's stile maybe Hamas or some other groupe but not Al Queda.
I say it's about 50/50 the chanses that this is terrorism (of the organised type) and about 2/3 likely that it is somehow religus baised
-
there's some rumor that his 17 year old step son was involved... a rumor at best.
-
Of course nothing happened. Once a day, at most, something happens. Except when they confiscated the payphones, and when the news services started going at each other, blaming each other for the whole thing. Those were pretty damn funny. But they weren't exactly breaking news.
-
Enough with the political/terrorist/war threads already.
