A test of some special effect work. Maybe I'll animate it sometime.
The Patriarch takes fires from an unseen adversary.

it needs some better lighting and maybe some motion blur, but its a good effort :)

Umm...it has blur, look again. Too much and it looks like ****, trust me.

Besides, it was more to test the effects then anything else.

the beam needs a bigger glow...

two things:
1. The laserglow is way too big. Resize it.
2. Make the lens flare farther away from the beamglow, or remove it completely. It looks crap right now.

stu i have ben messing arround with lens flares for a while i cant seeme to be able to moove it it just stays as it is when i change the values nuting happens :(

if you're using lightwave, then I can't help. If max, then... well, I could use a better description.

Select your Light and press "T" that way you can use your mouse to position the light as you want. If you want it to put it on a beam then select your light and press "M" then make the light a parent of the beam. that way you have a beam glow.;)

I think it loks blury enough.
