Title: The HLP space travel project.--idea

Ok, maybe this is a bit whimsicle, but it's pretty interesting:

We start with a basic principle for instance, our current one is propulsion. Then, everyone contributes to it, and we make a theory based on the mathimaticians, designers and dreamer's ideas.
Then, someone (preferably not me, I've had some bad run-ins with them :D) submits it to NASA, or some other such agency to see what they think....


If anyone wants to do this, then I'll start another topic based on the theme, and we'll start it off!

As they say: "2 heads are better than 1!" And we've got hundreds!

First of all : We have dozens... The rest is dead.

Yah, but they're no good sat in a box marked 'HeAdZ', are they?

Besides, I'm running the SETI screensaver, so I'm already doing my part for space exploration :p

uh .. i doubt we could come up with anything their geeks n' nerds haven't thaought of that actually works.. but there is nothing keeping you from trying/starting it.

'Sides, who says we couldn't think of and perfect something they haven't done yet?

Also, who says it has to be different? Watson and Crick started their theories based on "gossip": What other people were saying, studying, etc.
