A smallish dev part of a big-assed animation I'm doing. The real thing is several megs in size right now (my DivX codec isn't working, and I'm working on including sound), so I can't upload it.

thats a sea and a an umm.....an .....a .....eem.

Exactly.
Actually, it's an obvious capitalization on a flaw in Carrara's atmosphere generator, and an old Hawk interceptor copy. But it doesn't matter.
-
you know u just made it worse lol ;)
-
Did I?:p

its uh its uh... ion cannon! ready to blast some UT2003er away form the Command Point... even if hes on the same team...
-
No, it's a dead bird

Highlight the bottom of my last post, if you really must know. Not that it's relevant, really.
-
That looks like some scout probe that i remember seeing from the game Earth 2150, the LC forces,
or a orbital ion cannon

Ya know, from that distance it looks like a Nebulon B redux from XWing vs. TIE Fighter.
-
My orbital cannons don't have the wing things, 'cos they're really unnecessary. No way in hell you're gonna be able to power a crater-creating, several-thousand terawatt laser with a couple of little solar panels.
And the Phobos was kinda more... squat looking. Was supposed to be a flying radar dish, definitely not so pointy.

perhaps the panels are in order to drive it's computer and guidence systems?
-
[shrugs]
You need a better power system anyway, so why not use the excess juice from that to provide the minimal power those'd need?
-
somehow i don't think there will be any "excess juice" when you set that thing off :P

it looks like someone threw a lame shuriken away because he/she didn't like it...
:nervous:
