Ok, I am trying to copy my old modding data (tables and models and skins) into a new fs2 directory on my new computer. It isn't working. If I just have tables, it gives me a .pof not found error, if I have the pofs in there, it gives me a map not found error, and if I have tables, pofs, and maps in there, it loads to the second bar and then crashes. No more FS2 program. Just dies. If I delete (or rename) the folders (so the game won't see them) it works just fine. What up with this?

Last time FS2 crashed like that for me was becasue of a bad table entire (deleted offender- worked). have a look...

i had the same as you have now a crash at the second bar...my prob was that the ships.tbl file was over 380kb chack that or it could be a bad TBL entry.
Hope that helps (http://dynamic.gamespy.com/~freespace/ubb/noncgi/wink.gif)

ok, I tried that, and now it freezes on the last two. The last two are blank, and the rest are full. This is driving me nuts!!!!
