Title: I'm looking for someone to create multiframe Shivan pilot anis
Post by: Su-tehp on November 06, 2002, 10:55:29 pm
Guys, I'm looking for someone whio can make pilot anis of Shivan pilots in all three states (calm, moving slightly and dying).

I do have a couple of single frames on Shivan anis in a zipfile, but I wonder if anyone can use these as models to create new Shivan pilot anis.

Any takers?

(I'll have to ask in the source code forum if it's even possible to have these new pilot anis useable in the game...)

Since we don't really have an animated Shivan model to work from, this would be rather difficult, methinks...

this one was made by Venom in the art forum a while ago. :) i can't open it since it's in .max format, but it looks very nice from the pics in here

Nice work, Vas Ad. This is stuff that could help as models to work from.

But I do have a zipfile with actual multi-frame anis of Shivans. The only problem is that the frames in each ani are all identical, so the Shivans don't actually "move". I don't know who made them (the zipfile doesn't have a read-me, just four shivan-comm anis), but I can e-mail anyone this zipfile upon request.

Is Venom around? Maybe he could work on this too...;7 :)

It might be possible to record parts of that hallfight cutscene and resize/edit them so that they would work as message heads.
