Advanced hybrid interceptor, much better than any other ship in the game.  Of course, you only get to use it when you're up ****  creek, so it aint going to be easy with it.

the maps have come out strangely low res in-game, I'm not sure why exactly, as the Vesuvius uses the same technique (and size) for mapping.  Hopefully I can improve them - albeit it's not too bad at the mo.

Certainly I don't really want to change the actual mapping design. (well, maybe a wee bit)

EDIT:
6/8 primaries, 2 missile banks, top speed of 110 m/s (full engines), superb maneuverability.  Render maps are 512x512, so I'm losing a bit of detail when I reduce to FS size....

Nicked some of the design from a Manticore (I think) RE the missile 'arms'

I don't really think FS2 cares about map size... take a look at the various FS2 maps, a bunch of them are different sizes

already talked and tried all that: you can USE maps larger than 256*256, but fs2 will resize them to 256*256, inducing a loss of quality, maybe more than if you sized down the map by yourself.

thats okay,
one thing though, on the hyrock the textures seemed to be slightly off, white line (background of map) were aperaring, I corrected it by setting backgroud to grey (average colour) - this only happened in FS2 engine?

Resizing the maps creates 'seams' where the maps don't exactly match up.  Basically, the background colour shows up at the edges.

So you either have to alter the background colour so the difference is tiny (and un-noticable), or - as - I did - make the edges of each facer slightly larger, i.e. by drawning a line over them.

And FS2 only supports maps of 256x256 and bleow - it resizes large ones so the longest edge becomes 256.  i had some problems with this previously, and there have bee a few big discussions about it on this forum.

I always use 256X256 now and did for all fighters - I was talking about the main map for the hyrock - there should be none on that (I have seen what you mean in the b and c maps)
I just read that PCS dosn't support < TS3, I use TS2, I have TS3SE would that do?

I've had no problems using TS2 with PCS.

I don't know if you deserve help after that slur on Scotland though.
