Title: Help with sliced html images
Post by: Warlock on November 14, 2002, 04:11:15 pm: I need some assistance if someone's got the time and desire. I'm working on redoing my RPG group's website,... while surfing around for ideas I found something I like the design of to use for images in our nav frame ... but don't want to just yank theirs and I'll be damned if I'm getting anything remotely close to it with Photoshop.

Check out the right nav bar the top set of images. I'm thinking someone along those lines only without whatever the hell those icons are flipping around as you hover the links.

Anyone mind helping out ?

Post by: mikhael on November 14, 2002, 05:03:02 pm: If I could, Warlock, I would. However, I will say AVOID THAT DESIGN. There's a lot wrong with it, starting with the poor contrast on on the top buttons and the ill fitting menu on the right.

That's just my opinion though. ;)

I wonder if that ever sold? It was for sale on E-Bay for a while. Its built to scale with the original Star Wars action figures. :D

Post by: Stealth on November 14, 2002, 07:07:10 pm: no that looks pretty neat, except whatever n00b did it, the bottom left button works differently from the other three buttons... it actually 'lights' up...

also it would be much better to do that in Flash.

I'd even be grateful for some tips on doing it,...I can't do the flash style myself,...I pretty much suck with flash :D But photoshop I can handle.
