Title: CCW Turner-KL7 Laser Cannon

Narol stated that Coalition tech in the 158th was kinda clunky and big. In this vein, I submit the Turner KL7 laser cannon.

Got REAL fruity with the shader effects in Lightwave. This is 1280*1024 (perfect for wallpaper, should you so wish :D), so I'll levelshot it...

ooohhhhhwwww, purdy
do the two turbine things in the middle spin
and I realy like the colors you used
only thing I would recomend is useing a slightly higher poly outer barrel as I can see the polys in the smaller pics

Great gun dude !

I want one on my bike and one with straps so i can put it on my back and blast some annoying teachers away at school !:D

They do spin, indeed.

The outer shroud of the barrels is intentionally low poly, I wanted it to have sharp angles there. The barrels themselves though, should be fairly smooth, being 36polys around the circumference.

Thanks guys. :) Time to go back to some low poly stuff for a little while now. :D

it looks cool, but you might want toround it off a bit. those cylinders look like they're maybe 16 sided. go for more like 100 sided.

the only low poly cylinders in use on the weapon are in the main body itself and the shroud, which are 12 and 8 sides. All the finer piping and the barrels themselves are 24, 32, or 64 poly each.

I'll definately replace the barrels though. On close inspection, I can see what you mean.
