whoa, cool design. What exactly is this for?
-
Ok being as how i have alot of interests into various arts, I decided to incorporate it all into one website. Since i am an artist, also i produce some music, and i like photography and stuff, i made a site for me to post my works. but then i realized i know ALOT of people who want to do the same. so i made it public. so anyone can add @ there discression (this until i get the PHP picture forum up for the studios.). anything from music to drawing to graphical art will be hosted here. from anyone and everyone anywhere.

Sadly every time I hear Nexus I think Nexus Gold Club, damn I'm listening to the radio too much.

Sweet look on that site, I like the purple/black combo :). but the main picture gets repetetive when you use it that much.
So is this like a render-gallery sort of thing? Or is it for general visual art? Sounds interesting anyway (whatever it is :p)
BTW:
You used frontpage on that, didn't you? (yes, I cheated :p)
Non-WYSISYG html is w00t I suggest you learn it for better websites:D :) (actually your site had relatively clean html code)
-
:eek2: I like. I like a lot.
-
that background kicks ass...
you could use some better buttons though  ;)
-
Obviously, who doesnt use a lil assistance these days, the code was original, but then for the rest, COPY AND PASTE, i dun got the time nor the wrist muscles left over to retype that damn code lol...
im working on new buttons now anyway. but for now the flashy color buttons are good enough lol.... thanks for the feedback guys. i also reitirate, anyone who wants to post stuff pics etc, feel free to, i dont mind hooking my peers up. plus i know all u peeps got stuff u wanna show online but dunno where to, just contact me and we work it out.
thanks again! ;)

Nice site design dude. Very nice indeed. Your HTML is lined up nice, and you've commented certain parts which is also good. Your buttons are simple, but it compliments the rest of the complexities.
Remember, simpler is better. Dont overdo the look, but overdo the content. Right now your site looks good and professional. I fear any new buttons you might add might take away from the overall feel. eSPECIALLY IF YOU MAKE THE BUTTONS PICTURES.
oops sorry for caps.
Anyways Dreamweaver is the best HTML editor you will find, and has a plethora of options and support. I would use it instead, it is much easier to use and alot more fun.
Nice work dude, dont change a thing.

Notepad is for code junkies. Using Dreamweaver does the coding for you. Why waste time writing it out when something can generate it for you? Seems kinda dumb to me. You should however atleast understand and know what its generating, but after that whats the point in wasting time typing it?
As for making the site more complex with buttons your right, and as i said simpler is better. Just my opinion.

both u guys are right lol, but every program has features (even note pad lol) that let a person edit the pages to the letter. but i personally think theres a thing that beats it all.
the good ol' copy+paste function :ha:
once u make the essential page code that is going to be the basic site design, all u do is copy and paste, how many people honestly do that int he industry and make hundreds of thousands a dollars a year messin with sites like microsofts just to copy and paste. i sez, lets capitalize on this and make some money!
anyways, i got 3 model pages coming up within a month, more pictures ive made, some ive taken, and a portfolio for photography. i am trying to imput a code that allows someone to automatically upload images to the server. i forgot how to do that. well hopefully i'll get that forum program that is just like this but is for pictures.
