Ok I'm having soem weird trouble with loading my missions in the tech room. Specifically (and only) 3 particular missions I have done for the FSPort. The check out in Fred and they are in Data/missions, yet they just don't show up in the tech room.
Help me out peeps

Kind of stupid, but I had this problem once when converting some Silent Threat missions. I had accidentily put them in Freespace/data/missions instead of Freespace2/data/missions. :D
-
:)
haven't done that but i have the same problem. :D
-
Do you have so many missions, you have to scroll down to get to them?
-
Ine the windows file yes.. , In FS, no. I have like 5 in FS.
-
They're not flagged as Mulitplayer, are they? They won't show up in the single missions menu if they are.
Also, if Alpha 1 has any illegal flags attached to him, it won't show up.

Huh? What does that mean?

Doesn't that mean like "cruiser" "corvette" and anything other than "fighter" and "bomber"? Or am I making an ass out of myself?

Thank you sir. That would be my error.
How do i make them the same as ST mission (They were Multi after I ported them) and still be able to fly them in single player?
-
Er... do you not have to have two copies? One flagged single and the other flagged multi, I believe... of course, that's if I understood that last post right...

I think you can change the mission type to "11" in the mission file directly to do this, but I have never tried it myself.

I have. It works fine. Simply open the file in notepad and do as the man says :)

Muchas Gracias Senoritas ;)
Edit: Err... Mission type?

"protect-ship", for example. Not allowed to have that on a player ship. (Although one can have beam-protect-ship, oddly enough...)

and having it turned on will prevent the mission from showing up? I could understand the mission not working but for it to not show up is a bit of a suprise. :)
