Title: if I convert a POF to a COB with Kazan's PCS...
Post by: delta_7890 on September 05, 2001, 02:27:00 pm
...will it keep turrets glued and keep textures in place?  I'm thinking of reworking a Hecate by adding more weaponry (similar to what Thunder did to his own personal Orion), but only want to do this if I can keep everything else intact.  I really don't feel like regluing lights and turrets and redoing textures and such.  why?  because I'm lazy  (http://dynamic.gamespy.com/~freespace/ubb/noncgi/biggrin.gif)

I don't know about the textures, but I'm quite sure I read in another topic that you do have to reglue all the turrets...

I also seem to remember something about screwing up model heiarchies...

You'll just have to search around, I'm sure it was in this forum though.

Nonono. It converts all hierarchies intact. The old POF2COB is the one that screwed everything up.

PCS does everything correctly. Well, almost everything, but that's not a big concern.
