Title: Campaign voice acting
Post by: JBX-Phoenix on September 08, 2001, 01:23:00 pm
What do I need to do to make the voices sound Freespacy?  And is there anything else I need to know before putting the voices in the game, like max size and all that?

For in-game ship chatter, try running the souns files through a filter to add a bit of static. Maybe, if whatever proggy you use has presets, you could give things like "60's radio" presets a try.

I guess, I should write a tutorial....it is pretty easy with the right programs, but before you think about voice acting, complete the missions first!  (http://dynamic.gamespy.com/~freespace/ubb/noncgi/wink.gif)

Already completed the mission, just has a few bugs.  And a tutorial would be much appreciated by me and maybe others.
