Hey-
Could someone tell me where to get FS2:Sci Fi Game of the Year? The only site that I know of that was selling it was //www.dealdealdeal.com, and their price is way to expensive (69.99) Please don't mention sites that have it but out of stock, or ebay (and any other auction sites). Thanks.

To answer your question, your best bet is probably looking in local computer stores (if you haven't tried already). FS2 is no longer being published :sigh:, so not many sites carry it.

Um... dunno about the GOTY edition, but FS1&2 was released by Virgin White Label (UK, europe I think) a wee bit back. you may be able to find some copies of that lurking about. Cost a tenner (£10 - equiv to $15 roughly) so it should be reasonably cheap. I think I saw a few on the Amazon.co.uk auctions, too - though they may have been on DVD.

www.ebay.com

I said no auction sites. I want sites that have it in stock (eg. dealdealdeal.com)

I have the Gold Edition, which is european version of GOTY, and it's just FS2 with v.1.2 patch applied, and single-player version of templar campaign, and several user-made missions. It's nothing special, you can get that stuff from net, too.
Edit: Forgot that it has some extras on the CD. Again nothing special, though...

*Remembers something*
Read GalacticEmperor's and Sandwiches' posts here (http://www.hard-light.net/forums/index.php/topic,10328.0.html), it might be a solution to your problem.

:wtf: You might want to change your username to something like Freak88... What you have now is a bit weird.
Basically, you find a friend (or make one here) that has GOTY and they can burn you a copy and send it to you, legally, for whatever proce you two agree on. :) Sound good?
-
You can really make copies of the CD and give it to a friend for FREE??? Theres got to be a problem there, or is it just me?
-
Well it'll cost you about $.30 for the CD and a burner of course...
But legal wise, FS2 is an open source game, meaning that it is now free.. they aren't marketting it anymore so why not? Now FS1 is a different story.. go to target if you want one of them by chance.

Not quite. It can only be distributed in a not-for-profit manner. It isn't any price you agree on, just the cost of the cd and shipping.
