I am sure I have 5 or 6 more floating around somewhere but that's basicly it. If anyone wants these I have 3 requests...
(1) An email address (not full) to send them to, and
(2) Try to get them workin in game and
(3) Send them back to me finished or make them publicly available!!!
As for textures: if you don't do them fine just make generic names like (ie: Xanthus model - Xant01, Xant02, Xant03) that way we can make custom ones later and they wont conflict with other custom names, or existing VP ones. I had this problem with the Robotech Mod (no biggie) Now EVERY Orion in the game looks like the SDF-1...

Getting a little better at textues and now I present The IDAF Vandal. Rescued from Lar's Model Dump and textured. I could only add 1 set of primaries and secondaries so far but HEY I'm learning here!! Also couldn't figure out subsystems... BUT IT WORKS in game and ready to kick some but! (Shielded too!). [edit] It's been a couple hours and I figured out how to get a second set of primaries on BUT secondaries elude me still...
I figured out subsystems (Horay!) but can't add thrusters I think cause there is no submodel? The texture stayed in game??? Clueless.. Give up for tonight... sleep. Got enterprise working from wolf.. SSm's re-enabled, ships bulging, table shakey at 187 entries. weaps pushihg it too. Been a productive holiday.
[re-edit] OK! I figured out how to add second secondary bank.. went nuts and gave it 3 guns and 3 missiles.. Yeah of course it didn't work, sure had me fooled though. I was gonna try for four missile banks but decided to test first.. No joy went back to 2 and 2... Why is that? Anyway mastered subsystems (added comm, nav, engine 1&2, weapons,sensors)... Still no idea about exhaust...

If you mean the Vandal its one of my old creations...never knowed that Star Dragon has it...well must be in the pack I have released some time ago...
The textures are looking quite intresting, would you mind to post a different view of the model so we can see it a little bit better.

Hours later another attempt Lars... This time I call it "The Worm" cause it is suppose to be ALIVE!... I thought I was making a fighter, turned out to be a cap ship (go figure)... anyway I used Deep E. to make the cob register that it will have textures. Then used PCS to rename them. Then I made subsystems, ect.. BUT I can't make a thruster? Or a working turrent? Does there need to be a submodel? Can't you have the model fire like a fighter without being a fighter? Anyway here's a in game shot...

It looks better in game. ANy advice help, appreciated. Am not big on reading a lot, I learn more by messing around :drevil: I learned a LOT this week...

[Re-edit] That is probably as good a pic I can get cause of the dark plating. 3 textures, black (cockpit), Photon (for two engine covers) and some Dark Deck Plate (for main hull)..

I took a shot at the Yorktown.. Notmuch I can do with 2 textures for three objects (cause the two big ones have to match up, left and right)... Look it has a face and keeps staring at me!!! oh well it has all subsystems and 4 fighter bays (2 above and 2 below). no weapons though... Maybe they need all the room for planes and supplies? That's what escort ships are for! May be in a couple of months I'll take another go at a better texture job but for now it WORKS! now about the weapons Hmmm...
