Question 2 of 2...
anywho, I know maxis officially said the Sims would not run on WinXP, but i heard it was possible anyways. I tried the compatability option, ran it under Windows 98/WinME, no avail. The problem is, on attempting to run the program... it simply crashes again (standard windows xp "we encountered a problem with your program because we are bad programmers" screen). I tried all the command line parameters and it still wont work. It does work on my Windows 98 machine... but i hate using that thing.
Ideaz?

Try the NT 4.0 option.. that usually runs most things...
