I did everything. And ships use FS2 textures, so there's no point in putting them in the .zip with the models, is it?...

I know, some of them aren't good, but I'm lousy when it comes to making textures!

Are you currently swamped with mod stuff?

I would appreciate help in learning how to give working engines and weapons to the capships I am finishing from raw models. I even used your Phoenix Fighters cause they look so cool in a screen of The NEW 4 Bay Carrier of Lars I pof'ed from a 3DS model ;)  I can't seem to figure out why they wont fire their weapons or how to place engine glows (I'm a noob at this), l8tr.

Sorry for the silence. My windows XP chrashed and I had to format my HDD and install the 98. Luckily I partitioned the drive, so I saved everything.

As for the Phoenix - the guns work fine by me, have to check, could be I put an older file for download.

As for the Iowa - if it doesn-t work, just set a few main turrets in PCS to no rotation. By me it works fine with 12 rotating turrets, for othersI don-t know.

Star Dragon - I have some exams now, so I won't be working much. If zou want the engines to work be sure to name them properly - see the Iowa (it has 5 engines).

One of the god things of having Win98 back is the fact that I can play Freespace2 again.

I just saw what's the problem with the Iowa. The metalfx3.pcx wasn't in the zip file, so I've put it on download (models section).
Allso the gtiship01-04a texture Fs2 reports missing on the Iowa and Vanguard - I don't understand that problem as well (I don't recall ever using that texture),
however it's easy to fix. Open the model in PCS and it the texture sectio replace the name of this texture with ctile4B (or with some other). Hit save and it should work fine.

I've allso added the Excalibur and the Gallileo for download, and the Vindicator and Vulcan weapons (models section, no link yet).

Note that most of the models are still in the Beta phase!
