First LODed Episode 2 bomber for Reciprocity

Advanced fighter-bomber/strike bomber - close to Artemis, more guns, better handling & speed, less hitpoints and 1 less secondary banks. I managed to shoot down a Herc 1 with a Cyclops flying this thing, although it still handles pretty much like a bomber.
About 350 polys... design is pretty much a composite of Erinyes, Artemis and Herc 2 - I started off by modelling an Erinyes style cockpit and worked from there.
Almost done.... need to add eyepoints, glows and docks, and do the interface art. Depending on how long other models take, it may add another 1/2 fighters to the campaign ships list.... if so I'll release one or 2 of the finished fighters publicly (maybe a Claymore 1 & 2 double pack (http://dynamic.gamespy.com/~freespace/ubb/noncgi/biggrin.gif) )

Maybes... I don't think they're is anything too bad with the way I map them - it's hard to round off the cockpit using seperate planar maps, so i follow the edges - although i'm going to try and get a 'bubble' type cockpit on some newer models (like on the Herc).
That said, i have used this method for the last 2/3 ships, so it's probably time for a change.

heh! I didn't say anything was wrong, I just said you could try another design, that's all.
