Title: RIP Warpstorm
Post by: HeX on December 05, 2002, 03:42:13 pm: Warpstorm has brought spam to the internet it's last time ladies and gentlemen. After all the crashes, foil ups, dramatis destructivis, loss of members, constantly rebuilding, repairing and recruiting over and over, Warpstorm has finally hit a point where it's more trouble to keep running then it is to let go of.

After a 3 years of spam, stories, mindless ideas and unfinished projects, Warpstorm is being closed for good. To those hardcore members out there this'll be a tragedy, to everyone else, a WTF followed by a "meh oh well". Whatever your reaction, we'd like to thank everyone who visited and posted at Warpstorm. You made it what it was, and what I'll remember it to be.

RIP WARPSTORM - Polluting the internet with mindless spam for 3 years running.

The Libra Wars project has basically been scrapped, the engine is out of development. Warpstorm.com will still exist, but there will be no forum, no community, and will probably be about something that nobody here is interested in.

I thank everyone for the memories, the forum, the PotSW, Oracle, Nyxfall, and every other odd little turn we took.

But... But... Who said that? We've been out of touch lately, and I've been busier than usual with handling two projects all by myself here at my real life job, but I had no intention of dropping the engine. Damn.

I didn't think I would be that active there either but warpstorm was an addiction and I kept coming back year after year, hosting change after hosting change, chaos after chaos...

I could not stay away...

sure, it's been coming for a long time. I remember way back when I said something in the ways of "this community is dying", and hairy responded by "it's been that for a long time...". After that, it came to somewhat life again, only to suddenly die now...
