for my HTML class I had to make a web site so I decided to make a PCS tutorial'n stuff (http://freespace.volitionwatch.com/blackwater/fstut/fstut_index01.htm), I would greatly apreciate some feedback (on here, the stuff on the "other stuff" page is just to make sure I have everything my teacher wanted, though it should all work), the main work is the PCS tutorial were I used quite a bit of Javascript to acurately recreate the operation of the PCS interface (click on the tabs), there is also a handy vector normalizeing function hidden in the hilight data window. I would like some spell checking and stuff like that, this thing is due in a day or two so I would like a lot quickly. also look to make sure I don't have any dead links or scrip errors, also if anyone wants there site listed, I'll put it up.
the interface is designed to work on monitors running on 1024X786 (or whatever it is) with no side pains open (ie the favorites or history folder)

To make an auto-gen turret the base model must have a name starting with "turret" followed by a two digit number, for two part turrets it must also end in "-base" and the berets must end in "-arms". Glue a light to the turret base model named "turretXX-fpNN" were XX is the turret number and NN is the firing point number
Put a period instead of the first comma.I think you meant Barrels and not berets.
this isn't really an auto-gen feature but I figured I should include this anyway, submodels are used for turrets and thrusters and physical subsystems and other stuff
Replace comma with a period. Get rid of the and after turrets and insert a comma.
to make a peace of debris you mearly need to make the geometry for the dead ship chunk, glue it to a light and glue it to the main LOD like any normal subobject, name it debrisX were X is the debris peace starting with 1
Get rid of comma after subobject. Replace with a period.
The Last 3 Paragraphs should be capatilized in the beggining as well as sentences.
Nice site. :nod: :yes: . The Pic is nice. You make it? If you just polish up the beam explosion and fire a little bit, you could put it in the Art forum :D

one thing that would be good thou
setting the framesize to solid (so you cant move the borders arround...)
would look better

I've been using model view to edit .pof's cause PCS was a little over my head. Thanks B! I achived each page for reference...

I don't think she is that strict on gramer as she is on spelling (wich as you can likely tell it the #1 cause of me loseing points), but to be on the safe side I'll fix thouse
if anyone has any ideas for more scripted math things (like the normalize vector thng) that would be relevent I'd like to make a few more of them

An explaination of what eye points actually are might be nice (cause I`ve never really understood them)

The "Other Stuff" page has a lot of misspellings...here are the ones I've spotted:
"was this recorce usefull for you" = "Was this resource useful for you?"
"yes, of corse it was" = "Yes, of course it was"
"some what" = "Somewhat"
"not for me but i'm sure some whould find it useful" = "Not for me, but I'm sure some would find it useful"
"sugestions" = "suggestions"
Otherwise, the idea and style of the PCS Tutorial is excellent. :yes:
